service related FAQ’s

What casting processes do you run in-house?2026-10-01T11:11:14+00:00

Green sand, resin-bonded no-bake and shell molding, investment (lost-wax) casting, gravity and low-pressure die casting, and centrifugal casting — all inside the Inmore casting base.

What testing and inspection do you perform?2026-10-01T11:11:14+00:00

Optical emission spectrometry, tensile and impact testing, hardness, ultrasonic and magnetic particle inspection, X-ray and full CMM dimensional reports — all in our own accredited laboratory.

How do you control casting defects?2026-10-01T11:11:14+00:00

Mold filling and solidification are simulated before tooling is cut. In production, charge chemistry, pouring temperature and cooling curves are logged per heat, so a deviation is corrected at the source rather than at final inspection.

What is your typical lead time?2026-10-01T11:11:14+00:00

For repeat parts on existing tooling, four to six weeks ex-works. First articles on new tooling typically run ten to fourteen weeks depending on tooling complexity.

What is the minimum order quantity?2026-10-01T11:11:14+00:00

Tooling economics set the floor rather than a fixed MOQ. For parts on existing patterns we can quote from a few hundred pieces; new tooling normally justifies itself above 1,000 pieces.
